The
Iberville Parish Jail was erected in 1976. It houses both male and
female inmates and has a limited capacity of 120. The jail is staffed
by twenty-one full time correctional officers. They work a rotating
schedule with two teams working seven days, two teams work seven nights,
with the other two teams off. The schedule cycles and the officers are
off every other weekend.
