The Civil Department keeps
track of the departmental budget. Other responsibilities include, but
are not limited to, employee payroll, insurance, overseeing Sheriff's sales,
wage garnishments, processing legal documents for service within the parish,
and issuing purchase orders for departmental spending.
The Tax Division is responsible for collecting
all taxes annually in Iberville Parish. Taxes are due annually on December
31st and penalties accrue after that date. All taxes can be paid at the
Sheriff's Office in Plaquemine and at all substations.
